Rudolph the red nosed reindeer, probably had a parasitic infection. It’s true. Norwegian scientists think that Rudolph’s shiny red nose is probably the result of a parasitic infection in his respiratory system. In other news, Norwegian scientists are really fun at parties.

In The 12 Days of Christmas, the mysterious “true love” gives 364 total gifts. 184 of those gifts are birds. And somehow, the singer still refers to the gift-giver as their “true love” 184 birds later. So be grateful for whatever you’re given this season, because it could always be worse. Like 184 birds.

KFC is the most popular Christmas meal in Japan. Maybe they were given 184 birds and had to make the best of the situation, but either way, if you’re in Japan, get ready for a finger-lickin’ good Christmas.

More than 48 million Americans suffer from hearing loss, but only 8 million get help. Okay, so this isn’t a Christmas fun fact, but it can be. If you or someone you know suffers from hearing loss, point them towards Eargo! After all, there’s no better gift than the gift of hearing. Take notes, “true love.” No one wants 184 birds.

Now that we’ve given you some fun Christmas facts, how about some holiday jokes?

What’s Santa’s favorite genre of music?

  • Wrap.

What did one snowman say to the other?

  • Does it smell like carrot out here?

What did those last two jokes have in common?

  • They were both ho-ho-horrible!

Eargo with snowman

And finally…

Why is no one laughing at your jokes?

  • Because 48 million Americans suffer from hearing loss, and only 8 million get help.

To make sure everyone knows how funny you are, point them towards Eargo! After all, it’d be just plain greedy and elfish to keep such hilarious gems to yourself.

Okay, look. All joking aside. Our biggest tip to you? Don’t pin all your hopes and dreams on having the perfect Christmas. That’s a recipe for disaster and disappointment. You don’t have to find the perfect gift, bake the perfect pie, or send out the perfect Christmas card. Just be present in the moment and enjoy the days as they come. Sometimes the smallest moments are the most special.

And the best way to stay present in every moment, big and small? By making sure you’re part of the moment. Don’t miss out on holiday jokes and stories this year. Hear every moment with Eargo, the best rechargeable hearing aid ever. And one of our favorite stocking stuffers.

If you’re ready to really experience the holiday season, head over to https://shop.eargo.com/ and get ready to upgrade your hearing.

Sure, you might end up popping them out after the third hour of political arguments over the dinner table, but hey…isn’t it nice to have that choice? No? Still on the fence? Why not try our free sample kit. You can experience all the comfort and ease of Eargo, no strings attached.

Happy holidays! And to finish off our little “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas” poem above…

And I heard him exclaim as he drove out of sight…
“48 million Americans suffer from hearing loss, and only 8 million get help”
…Also Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night.

  1. When up on the roof there arose such a clatter but I couldn’t hear well so it just didn’t matter. I stayed in my bed cuz my batteries had gone dead. If I had rechargeable eargos I woulda been ahead. Yes I missed the reindeer and jolly st nick cuz on the online eargo ad I did not click. I didn’t hear him say as he drove His reindeer. Son get some eargo’s and Next year you’ll hear.

  3. WHEN THEY CHARGE PROPERLY they are amazing hearing aids! BUT, because of the uncertainty when getting ready to use each morning I’d have to rate them as UNRELIABLE. I never know what to expect (fully charged) when I go to put them in. On mine, the left unit seems to be the most problematic. I have actually made a high powered lope (magnifier) part of my Eargo kit so that I am certain the hearing aids are seated properly in the charger. Most often, I put them in each morning & within 5 minutes I receive a verbal warning “low battery” signal. Within 2 to 3 minute that unit (always my left one) goes off, & I have to recharge. It is VERY frustrating to think you are going to have great hearing each day & wind-up with none. Also, after the first 90 days, Eargo’s interest in your experience fades abruptly. Especially if you’ve had any problems in those first 90 days. In spite of my “iffy” experience, I still feel that these are the most comfortable hearing aids with the best sound quality when working properly. I have also owned both in-ear & over-the-ear types of devices. When they get the reliability bugs worked out Eargo will take the market by storm!

    • Hi Pete, thank you for your comment. We’d suggest calling your Personal Hearing Professional at 1-800-734-7603 to help resolve the issues you’re experiencing with your device. We’ll send them a note to expect your call!

  4. Amanda Bellister you cute little elf, Writing such prose, be proud of yourself. We who are so blessed wearing Eargos this year, are making relatives and friends merry with cheer. Mostly because their not repeating themselves, I’m no longer embarrassed and can hear Christmas bells.
